A Lofty Addition

A family in Bethesda, Maryland was looking to add on to their midcentury style split-level home. This new custom two-story addition gives them a dedicated guest room, bathroom, entertainment space, and 2nd story home office with a commanding view of the space and lush yards beyond. The front door entry sequence was also reimagined with a deep roof overhang and enlarged foyer. A workroom and ample storage are provided within an expanded garage. Landscaping included flagstone patios and walks, new driveway, and fresh plantings.
